The NY battle

I wonder how long Letitia James NY state Attorney General will hold office now that she’s going after NY governor Andrew Cuomo. The man who appointed her This will be interesting to say the least,
Somebody should be going after him, given his failure early on in Covid response management at state level. NY accounts for nearly 1 in 10 deaths in US. It was abysmal.
@Stillwaiting She’s going after him over the nursing home deaths. He’s like Teflon Don, so it will be interesting to see how she makes out. If She’s smart she’ll keep looking over her shoulders, because you cross Andy you’re very likely to pay a price for doing so.

Another ill informed opinion.
This is the lead story on a number of talk shows. Now she was after the NRA then recently the NYPD. Not sure where those witch hunts went, but one has to ask...what has prompted her to now go after Governor Cuomo? Outside influences? An eye on a future higher office? Or did she see what she saw as an opportunity she thought would be able to seize on yet not knowing what the consequences may or will be? If that’s so she may have politically signed her own death warrant and she may come to that realization when she hears her political death knell.
Not much in the last two or three days on this issue other than a brief remark from a talk show saying Andy might have had enough and she might have her sights on the Governor’s office. Again she went after him for under reporting the number of deaths, but the bottom line is he mishandled a situation and it cost many from those who passed because of his handling of the nursing homes issue to the family members of those who passed.

The AG isn't "going after" the Governor. She's reporting that the nursing home deaths were underreported. If that is true, we deserve to know what the true death toll was, and Cuomo bears responsibility for his decision to send recovering covid patients back into nursing homes. It was the wrong decision.

James will hold the AG office until she is voted out of office or decides to step down, as any AG would.

New York has some issues with their governor.
@Zonuss Ms. James is sort of on the back burner though has ties through her AG position in the possible downfall of Cuomo. The info that got released and wound up in the news media has seriously impacted him worse than Ms. James investigation though both events are tied together.
