Is anyone else tired of Joe Biden supporters that cant say one good thing about Joe Biden, but can say all the bad things that his opponents have done

It is time for the Joe Biden supporters to actually state some facts about Joe Biden and how it has effected his community or the nation. I can't see why some people voted for him. I want it to go well with Joe Biden, but I think this is really stupid that most people can't think of one or two things that he has done to benefit anyone beside his political career. He has been in office since November 1972, he has been in office for 48 years, and most people can't figure out what he has done. I want to hear something he has done well!

He hasn't done anything. He was only elected cuz people felt sorry for him about the accident that killed his wife and kid.
@SW-User His first wife and daughter died in 1972.

Surely, there's more to the story of why he won in 2020 after losing in 1988.

@MistyCee OK what is it then

First off he ran against a candidate, trump, who was so toxic that he was the best solution. Second he projects empathy which again contrast him with trump. Hell it all comes down to he ain’t trump, and that’s enough. @SW-User
@SW-User I'd say the biggest one would be the fact that he matched up better against Trump then any other Democrat based on temperament and 40 years as a relatively conservative traditional Democrat.

He's not Mr. Excitement and he's got plenty of warts, but even Trump couldn't make a decent case to his cult that Biden was a radical socialist or a reverse racist out to have his people replace them like he might have been able to if Kamala was first in the ticket.

Sure, he's old, a stutterer, and has been a gaffe machine for decades, but he's comfortable with it and his basement campaign, letting Trump rattle everyone's nerves and put the fear of civil war or narcissistic maskless Covid spread worked ok, if as I suspect it was, that was the plan.

I'm sure I could think of lots of other reasons, but after that, the most obvious would be Trump, Trumpism, and the people he had working on his campaign who let him play hard to his more rabid base and not even seem to try to appeal to more mainstream voters.

The Trump cult still seems to believe he's infallible, and that anyone who doesn't bow the head, bend the knee and accept his words as Gospel and anything contradicting him as heretical lies, but for a lot of Americans, his administration and four year campaign seemed like an ongoing trainwreck with people and moral behvior dying and chaos or authoritarian order being imposed by a narcissistic con man just over the horizon.

Continuosly spewing conspiracy theories, lying, being slow to condemn bad behavior he encouraged, buying silence with money, poor micromanagement, and getting impeached for stuff that was never tried because if the President does it, it can't be illegal rubbed a lot of people wrong, IMO, and my own personal thought (maybe foolish) is that telling people not to use their eyes and ears was a bigger mistake than people realize.

Obviously, Trump cultists who did as they were told and put their hands over their ears for fear of absorbing lies about him by the cabal of libs, globalists, media, intelligentsia, etc might not be all that bothered and might stand by him, march on the capital to smite good enemies, but Trump's "unorthodox style," IMO, energized "crazies" on both the right and the left, and likely made a guy like Biden, middle of the road, mostly calm, and saying the right things most of the time a lot more palatable.

I don't know if not "letting Trump be Trump" would have worked better or not, but being Trump seemed to play right into Biden's hand.
@monte3 Nicely put. I started out trying to say the same thing and ranted, but you nailed it neatly.

@MistyCee @monte3 bhahahaha just remember these are y'all's opinions and of course I expected no less from Trump haters. So I guess Biden is a liar cuz I specifically remember him saying that Trump would have to be forced to leave the White House. Y'all better get used to unemployment, immigrants, higher gas prices, eating with chop sticks, etc.
Buckle up! You're in for a hell of a ride.
@SW-User Eating with chop sticks?

I had thought you asked my opinion before, but I'll offer you an unsolicited one now.

I happen to like Sushi, along with a lot of immigrants and I even do well financially when oil prices are higher because of where I live and what I do for a living.

What I don't like all that much is ignorance, which is one of the things Trumpism seems to thrive on and encourage.

It would be pretty easy, for example to come up with a much better example of Biden being dishonest then predicting that Trump might have to be "forced" to leave the White House in the future, but you might have had to listen to someone else besides Trump to hear it, because when Trump could have used it against Biden, his own dubious academic testings and achievements were already being tentatively exploited by his own family.

My guess is its pointless, but to rephrase my opinions slightly, but I'll try to, in middle school terms.

I think Biden, probably a high C or low B candidate, won because he was running against an F candidate and D grade President whom a lot of people hated and distrusted in part because he got even those grades by taking credit for other people's work, told everyone he made As, and threatened to sue the school if they said any differently.

Like you though, I want Biden to do well, and I wanted Trump to do well in 2016 even though I was pretty sure he wouldn't and saw, maybe because I had a little more information than Trump, Fox News, and Info Wars, when he performed almost as horrifically as I thought he would.
SW-User
@MistyCee oh mighty one, you don't have to speak to me like I'm so low or that I'm in middle school. Don't even flatter yourself or I will put you in the corner with the other dumb asses.

I would love to see Biden under the stress that Trump had to deal with daily for 4 years from the Dems and media.

You are so full of yourself. 🙄 🙄
@SW-User I'm tempted to put myself in the corner after reading what I posted, actually.

Sure, I stand by my opinions, but my obnoxious self-rightious tone was embarassing and insulting.

Thanks for helping me see it.

@MistyCee for what it’s worth I don’t see anything ring with the post, with the possible suggestion that we shouldn’t be annoyed by bad people being bad. 🤷‍♂️
monte3 · 70-79, M
@SW-User 😆 tru WAS forced to leave the White House! Didn’t ypu watch on Wednesday?
