The Left Pushes Back On Big Pillow

My Pillow products won’t be carried in Kohl’s or Bed Bath & Beyond any longer, the company’s CEO says.

CEO Mike Lindell said Monday that his company recently was notified of the discontinuance.

“I just got off the phone with Bed Bath and Beyond. They’re dropping My Pillow. Just got off the phone not five minutes ago. Kohl’s, all these different places,” Lindell told Right Side Broadcasting Network.

BTW - My Pillow has seen its direct sales increase 30–40 percent since Friday.

The crime? - Lindell drew attention last week by visiting the White House to meet with President Donald Trump. -

Maybe he should sue for religious discrimination under Masterpiece Cake Shop. Its eerily similar.

@MistyCee How so?
@hlpflwthat Obviously, its not the same but he's being discriminated against by retailers for political beliefs, which border on religious faith.

I'm not really that sympathetic to Trumpists getting shunned for their antisocial beliefs and behavior, but this one is not as simple as it may seem, IMO.

Honestly, I think we're going to see a whole lot more of this kind of thing, in the real courts, the courts of public opinion and in the marketplace. Moreover, there are issues and equities, IMO on both sides.

Why should businesses be forced by the government to do business with other businesses whose beliefs are repugnant to them or their customers?

Incidentally, while I don't have a cite, I just saw something about a Trump Administration regulation prohibiting banks from refusing to lend based on the politics of the borrower. I hope Biden will scrap that one really quickly, and these issues were kind of always around, but they're going to continue and likely get bigger.

@MistyCee Maybe we see this differently here(MN.) I'm an hour and a half from his facility/hometown. I think Lindell's biz status was still more or less fine with outlets until he started slandering Dominion Voting Systems without so much as an iota of proof or cause. Folks get touchy around slander and slanderers.

"I want them to sue me. Please. Because I have all the evidence, 100%. I want all the American people and the world to see the horrific things that these (Dominion voting) machines are capable of and what they did to our country and what — they're allowing other countries to steal our election and just to hijack our election.

"I don't care if you're a Republican or a Democrat: All American people need to know the truth that this happened. So I'm welcoming Dominion because it will be found out. They're just doing this now to try and scare me."

"We have 100% proof that China and these other countries did it," Lindell continued. "… So I welcome Dominion to come after me because I guess the word would come out a lot sooner than waiting for the Supreme Court to open this thing up."

That was last night - not a month ago. The problem is 'all the evidence' is evidently in the same folder as the 'fantastic healthcare plan' for everyone. And 2 weeks away Ima guess ;)

And, let's get the IRS back on board with harassing conservatives again!

Mister C - do you know what the difference is between you and a monkey's puss filled dick?
@hlpflwthat Evertyhing I've seen from him makers me want to not do business with him and I've changed grocery stores because the owner took a fun selfie at the rally myself.

But I've also got an old friend who's done a really good job for 30 years at a non political organization getting crucified for being on the board of turning point.

This is where we are, a really divided country with real fundamental differences about personal values, and it's expressing itself with business, which is increasingly becoming more politically significant than individual or even groups of voters.

Call it corporate fascism, the free market, or whatever you like, but this is going to be hard on lots of people.

@Budwick how would you like the government forcing you to do business with BLM?

I don't think this is just a problem for one side in the long run.

And I'd rather have Congress figure out some compromises before the courts have to deal with it.
