Money, Politics and Democracy. Your thoughts?

I continue to be shocked at the amount of money that's involved in USA politics. It borders on the obscene to me.
"Money talks" it seems and without it ... what?

The country’s run by the wealthy corporations who own both parties. The sooner people realize that, the better we can fix it to where it’s actually for everyone instead of those at the top.
