Live in DC

Anyone living near the USA Capitol? I Talked to someone very important to me today who walks his dog there most days. He said the national guard is armed and on every corner. And that there are more national guard and military in DC right now than in all of Afghanistan.

Do you live there or have people you love there?

I live 25 miles away, and before Covid I worked a half mile from it, for 20 years.

It is a pleasant place, with nice grass. But I have not been in DC since the lockdown started and we were all told to work from home.
