Crazy that the State Capitol in Washington D.C. never had a metal detector until now
Also crazy that GOP lawmakers who supported metal detectors for schoolkids don’t want to be searched.

@DownTheStreet Well if a lawmaker supports metal detectors for schools, why then have a fit when one is placed in response to last weeks riot? They’re being hypocrites in that case.

@SW-User I’ve been to the capitol a few times and ..: there were metal detectors, at least where I went. Just like every other government building I’ve been to across the country.
