Should Donald Trump be impeached?

... and will the proceedings succeed?

He definitely should be impeached, as not only did he very strongly encourage the group to go after the Capital... he said he'd (and reported wanted to) join them... but staff wouldn't let him.

I kinda wish they did, as then we could see if he was upset by what was going on, or happy and making a big show in the middle of all it.

Also, supposively he knew what was happening and seemingly did nothing to try to stop it, and the pentagon refused to let states help for hours until VP Pense who was in the middle of all it, could reach out and tell at them... but Trump was watching and could have reached out at any time, while Pense was a little busy protecting himself.

As some Republicans have stated there is no action more impeachable then physically sending people after democracy.

And yes, he'll absolutely be impeached as all they need is a majority.

Will Senate convict Trump? Which needs 2/3rd vote... probably not... which is probably partly because he's about to get kicked out anyways.

But I've also read that to prevent someone from holding public office again, precedent holds that all they need is a majority for that... I could see some Republicans going for that, and getting a majority for that.
