Should Donald Trump be impeached?

The Republican congress members (some of whom he just tried to get killed) will probably just stall impeachment procedings in the Senate, and it'll delay Biden's cabinet appointments, making the exchange of power even more of a clusterfuck. There's a provision in the 14th Amendment though, that lets Congress bar a politician from running again if they "give aid or comfort to" insurrectionists. You could debate over whether what Trump did actually fits that description, but you'd only need a simple majority in both houses of Congress. The Democratic Party has that right now, plus some Republicans who would vote on their side.
