Well, some Americans won't listen but I am afraid that Trump is internationally disrespected and he has brought embarrassment because few can believe that someone that illiterate could have been voted in.
He says and does stupid things.. monumentally stupid things.. how does that reflect on the nation? Answer - very badly!
His attempts at diplomacy with enemies such as North Korea resulted in him looking foolish, they didn't listen and just carried on doing what they wanted re arms, and nuclear...
He also won international disrespect by pulling out of several international agreements... He seemed not to appreciate that if you opt out of international decision making then you reduce the say you have internationally..
And so on and so on and so on
He didnt exactly make America great either did he.. so I'd say he failed on both counts
