I always thought it was government BY the people, who fund the government.

@RogueLoner it isnt just the government. Those people represent us and in doing so are an extension of us. So attacking our institutions is attacking us all, at our core. Those peoples homes and lives were not threatened just because they felt they were.
There is not a way to try and make an attempted coup(orchestrated and cheered by potus, no less) compare to civil protest of police murdering and abusing black people.
