@Pitchblue Yup, but Trump sympathizers aren't going to disappear, and I'd still rather have someone who talks like Haley trying to get their votes than someone who embraces Trumpist "principles" like dishonesty and lack of respect for other human beings as their prime appeal.
@Budwick I really hope it doesnt come to that, at least without due process.
As I just posted in another reply, I think the best way forward is through the legal system.
McConnell's judges should be as sympathetic as is possible given the nature of the conduct that might be charged, and Garland was a damned good choice for AG, imo, compared to some of the other prospects.
Also, its sedition, rather than treason I'd be worried about, and I'm really hoping that any prosecutions for that are limited.
