The trouble for Haley et al who are no openly criticising Trump is twofold:
1) Why didn't they do it before? They could seem to be opportunists preparing the ground for their own plans to run next time.
2) Much of the country has bought into the Deep State conspiracy and lies of a 'stolen' election. A rational Republican Party of the more traditional kind (non-Tea Party) will be trying to appeal to an irrational, cultish portion of the electorate.
