As a matter of fact, President Obama topped the list for 12 years in a row, and that includes the year Trump was the incoming President as well as the following 3 years.
But there could also be a reason for this, stated by Gallup: Few Republicans name anyone other than Trump; Democrats split their votes, giving Trump 18%, Obama 15% and Biden 13%.
@Northwest That's something you have to admire about Republicans; their loyalty and immense hunger for power. They are like pit bulls unable to unclench their jaw from the neck of democracy.
@Northwest Trump is both God and Jesus to his Cult, so he's got a baked-in and not insignificant number of people who will always vote for him. That isn't surprising. You are spot on that Obama and Biden split the vote.
