So does anyone know what a Pakistani Gender programme is?

And why its more important then giving that money to Americans who have suffered during the pandemic?

It's a program, not a programme.

Seems as if the right-wing media lit up over this thing. Never mind they have no clue what it is.

The $10M will be used by US agencies to advocate for gender equality in Pakistan. Gender inequality is a significant contributor to violence/murder against women, and a blocker to Pakistan making humanitarian progress. Turns out threats, war and discrimination are not sufficient to change people's attitude, and education may be a better option.

$10M is a drop in the ocean of $Billions we gave Pakistan to strengthen the military, as we ignored the root cause of the problem.

@Northwest my Mom is from Kashmir where every year india kills hundreds of Pakistani terrorists who cross the forest or underground tunnel.

Living in a devloped country band acting oversmart about our region Only shows your incapability to understand reality.

Pak does not need US money for gender equality development. Those have enough of their own. Every bit of foreign money gets used for army's purposes.
