What are your thoughts on term limits for politicians?

I see piles of dung heaps on both sides if the isle. I think Pelosi and McConnell need to go.

It has nothing to do with their age or ability, but more about them giving two shits. If your entire focus is to get re-elected, you'll govern in a certain manner that will make that happen. But if you knew that re-election wasn't in the cards, you'd either stay in your private law practice, or try to make a positive change as a public servant.

Don't think term limits would be enough.

You'd just get a load of younger people being 'trained up' by the likes of the McConnell's and Pelosi's in the political world to 'take over' and implement the policy they want implemented.

Look at Cameron and Johnson.
Two examples of peas from the same pod doing the same poor job.

Perhaps they are, but maybe they see themselves being in politics for decades. If that option was off the table, why would they listen to the people feeding them a line of shit?
