Trumps final act.

Trump has announced planning for a Giant MAGA rally to announce his run for the 2024 Presidency to deliberately clash with the Biden inauguration. This after he fails to turn up for that. Of course, this will be without a formal endorsement by any party.. And before his financial problems are sorted out. And before any pending charges against him personally can be sorted out.. And before his looming divorce is settled.. What could possibly go wrong???😷

I have a small bet going that this is what will happen. You would think that no one will show up, but given that at least 75% of Republicans believe the election was fraudulent, and him receiving 74 M votes, and the fact that Mitch McConnell, as well the overwhelming majority of GOP Congressional members have yet to acknowledge a Biden win, I believe this to be a very plausible scenario. Unlike previous presidents, he's not going to fade away quietly, or go build homes for the less fortunate, he's going to be like a banana republic despot, forming his own party, so he can be in control after leaving office.

Just goin' all in? Like he's putting his flag in the sand? "We are now the MAGA Party and will prevail."

@Ynotisay I imagine this is how it will happen. But as you said, sociopaths are unpredictable. For now, he's been trying to interfere, Ukraine style, in election results, by pressuring states' officials.
