Basically I know things about Japanese Society because I admire the Japanese. MY "appropiation" of asian culture
Is merely done because I understand Asian Culture well ENOUGH and ADMIRE it well enough to actually us it as a Weapon against peoples dumb arguments
MAYBE The Reason Japan Succeeded at Containing the coronavirus is that OH I DONT KNOW, HURR
They actually HAVE a cultural tradition for wearing mask during outbreaks!
Here in the United States we don't even have social rules around the idea. Its just wear one if you want.
Everyone's left to figure it out for themselves.
and Like I said in Japan you wouldn't have all these people running around without masks on.
Which is exactly why Saying Lockdowns don't make sense here in the united states because Japan Succeeded without them is absurd.
We are not Japan, and containing this virus the way the Japanese did will not work for us.
