How does Trump win the election?

I’m genuinely curious. What is the mechanism where he wins another term and is sworn in on January 20? I’m interested in Trump supporters explaining how he will accomplish this. I keep hearing people say it’s not over yet but I’m not clear on the specific steps.

It just takes one from the house and one from the senate ... and boom ! Constitutional resolution to a corrupted election .

@TexChik Not exactly. Each chamber still gets to vote on whether to accept a state's slate of electors or not. If they don't agree, then the official slate signed by the governor prevails. So you would need the Democratic House majority to agree with the Senate to reject the slate from a state Biden won. And it would have to be enough states to push Biden below 270. And this assumes the Senate would vote to reject, too. Romney, Collins, and Murkowski have already said they won't do this.

McConnell has asked the Senate Republicans to not participate in any challenge. So if none do, nothing will happen and Congress will simply count the votes.

@Lila15 nope . The president of the senate ( Mike Pence) presides over the proceedings . It just takes one member of the house and the senate to object to the fraud and a seconded motion to throw the election into the constitutional resolution

@TexChik The two chambers deliberate for two hours, and decide if the states whose electors are in question should be tossed out or not. Both chambers have to agree; otherwise the submitted slate stands. I don't think the Democratic House will agree to toss out the electors from any state Biden won.

The "constitutional resolution" you're referring to only kicks in if no candidate reaches 270. So that would require the Democrats in Congress to toss out all four swing states Biden won.
