I hope so. Unfortunately, and due to close nature of the senate races, none of that will happen any time soon.
The Republicans will most likely stop all that dead in each track. They only need one more senator to do so.
It's funny how people are forgetting about the two senate races in Georgia. Republicans only need one of those two!

@DeWayfarer Biden is a nice guy... to nice. he is the kind of guy you like having as a neighbor, but he cant inspire people at all.

@AngelofFail doesn't matter who wins the presidency. It's the House and Senate that matters when it comes to actually governing the country. The president has always been the figure head. Only this president just didn't want to admit it. He was a dictator in truth and the Republicans for the most part just didn't want to admit that part.

@DeWayfarer well the usa is one of the oldest democracies around... and the whole voting system is based on circumstances of the 18h century. you could have a lot more sophisticated voting systems today and i am not talkign just about the electoral college etc. the changes we need are much deeper but would lead to the end of the democrats and republican parties as they exist today...
so neither has any interesst in reforming it
