I think if you're in the high risk category (elderly, compromised with other issues) you should be extra careful. Just like you would with other diseases that kill those people with the same risk factors.

But even though I believe covid is real, the panic is, in my opinion, pure bullshit. I'm not stopping my life because you're afraid. I'll be cautious and go about living. Don't like it? Hide.

@carpediem We need to be careful. How would you feel if you ended up in the hospital an then doctors didn't have as much time to post dancing videos on tiktik?
I would feel a guilt so horrible...

@Punches I don't even know what that means.I can tell you I know people in the medical field. In illinois hospitals are currently filling up with covid patients. It's the real deal no doubt. But in my opinion locking down is no solution.

Hasn't that been the case since March though?

Now about lockdown being no solution, that IS true.

@Punches actually no. The hospitalization numbers were lower according to my friends. Illinois is experiencing a huge spike at the moment. Still, putting restaurants and others out of business is just not the answer.

@carpediem No one said anything about stopping your life. Making big adjustments, Yes, but stopping? No.
