You’re right of course. There are plenty of pockets where racism is accepted - and then some. Trump’s rhetoric has galvanized them all.

I’m not saying Trump is a racist. He cares about money, pussy, and ratings. But he understands that support from the Klan is oxygen to his need to stay relevant. He seems to understand his base. (When he lied that he had no idea who David Duke was, that was all we really needed to know.)
