Is it just me? Or is anyone else reminded of the last days of the Third Reich?

You have the fearless leader cowering in the bunker while ordering non existent armies into battle and throwing tantrums. The loyal followers turning on each other while some sneak off, and the doomed henchpersons, knowing the end is certain and hanging in there to the bittler end.. And all the time the people dying needlessly because none of the leadership gives enough of a crap to quit and salvage something from this disaster.😷

@Elevatorpitches When I was a child we had about 4 tv channels with ABC, NBC, CBS, & PBS. When I was in my 20s they came out with other alternate channels that showed movies etc on the free antenna TV. Then Cable TV, satellite TV, now streaming TV. They can keep the masses so entertained with TV, theater movies, sports etc that they don’t have to use their brains to worry or think deeply about anything.
