Is it just me? Or is anyone else reminded of the last days of the Third Reich?

You have the fearless leader cowering in the bunker while ordering non existent armies into battle and throwing tantrums. The loyal followers turning on each other while some sneak off, and the doomed henchpersons, knowing the end is certain and hanging in there to the bittler end.. And all the time the people dying needlessly because none of the leadership gives enough of a crap to quit and salvage something from this disaster.😷
