If these guys were employed as lawyers to prosecute me for a crime, I'd be feeling pretty relaxed.

Judges are openly rebuking them. Not that it matters. It's more important for Trump to obfuscate and at this point, we can only speculate as to why. It may be as simple as his fragile ego, or it could be another con: he takes a 60% cut off donations going toward his legal attack fund, to pay off his campaign debt. The more of that, the less debt he will end up with when it's all over.
