The envelopes

When Trump was elected in 2016, Obama handed him three envelopes, and told him that they contained guidance that had been passed down from president to president, and if he ran into a serious crisis, he should open them.

So when COViD hit, Trump opened the first one. It said “blame your predecessor.”

Then when the economy crashed, Trump opened the second one, and it said “blame the opposition.”

Then Trump lost the election, and Trump opened the last envelope. It said “give the three envelopes to your successor.”
