10 years ago when you heard talk of "peak oil" Everyone who knew the discussions thought of Malthusianism and pointed out how wrong Thomas Robert Malthus's actually was, in that he did not count on how humans would find ways to make better use of our limited resources.
10 years ago nobody thought at all that "Peak oil" could instead be about when Demand for Oil peaked. We only looked at supply.
We all thought about thunderdome.
Even a YEAR ago only a Handful of starry eyed people like me started dreaming of a World where Demand for Oil as a Fuel went the way of Demand for Salt as a currency.
And yet today, a Year later, even people in the industry are starting to see the writing on the wall.
