Final thoughts (conservatives, don't waste your time)

If you’re a woman, you can’t honestly back Trump.
He’s shown 40 years of bad, boorish and possibly criminal behavior toward women, including objectifying his own daughter and boasting about being able to grab young women anywhere and anytime he wants.

If you’re a Christian, you can’t honestly back Trump.
He’s guilty of the seven deadly sins, he fails to hold sacred marriage. He champions those with money and promotes greed, bias and alienation. The teachings of the gospels warn again every one of the things in which he engages. Jesus embraced the alienated, the poor, the sick, the marginalized.

If you’re LBGTQ+, you can’t honestly back Trump.
He has, at every turn, worked and even sued the government to roll back same-sex rights. He continues to marginalize them and has even forbidden international US embassies from acknowledging Pride Month.

If you’re middle class, you can’t honestly back Trump.
What economic gains and momentum he inherited he has only monitored and not affected. He’s crippled farmers, posted the worst 3rd quarter in US history and refused to budge on the minimum wage, which right now sets a person only precariously above poverty level.

If you use health care, you can’t honestly back Trump.
While talking out one side of his mouth, he’s suing the federal government to erase pre-existing conditions and wants to abolish the ACA with no replacement plan in the wings.

If you love the environment, you can’t honestly back Trump.
He has rolled back dozens of environmental regulations, opened pristine and protected land to business and advocates a dying and deadly industry with no vision for the future.

If you believe in science, you can’t honestly back Trump.
This should be clear. He believes his instinct over science and refuses to listen to the medical community. Because he’s a stable genius.

If you’re a minority at all, you can’t honestly back Trump.
His bias, hateful speech and support of right-wing extremist groups is well known. He has been racist for the last 40 years and has a record to prove it. He is a nationalist, a xenophobe and a fascist.

If you are a self-respecting human being, you can’t honestly back Trump.
Mocking instead of listening, crowing instead of seeking advice, changing his reality by talking over it, using divisive speech, supporting divisive behavior and displaying the worst a human being has to offer. Again and again and again.

If you back him because you truly believe in hateful, hypocritical, greed-centered fascism, feel free to shout his name from the rooftops. But know that you are him. Know that history will remember your name.

Isn't this exactly what you are doing with this post. Pretty hypocritical.

Not my post, but the short answer is no, it is not hypocritical to point out Trump's fault, it is a patriotic duty.

@Laughoften Nope. Just facts. All demonstrable through data as well as his own words and actions.

@Laughoften Yep. And more and more people see it everyday...

..signed...a former progressive voter...

@Graylight more opinions than facts.

@Laughoften No. When the very words he says on tape are relied on, if not opinion. It's fact. When somebody can read the data of the progress of some of his policies, it's not opinion. It's fact. When he utters things like "I'm a nationalist" , it's not opinion. It's fact.
