They were sticking people in the hospital here a month ago telling them they suspected COVID without testing first. Same time that we were have poor air quality day’s due to extremely high ozone levels combined with high levels of ragweed, cedar pollen etc.
@cherokeepatti I am not familiar with Hospital procedure there. Here test and test again has been the key to success, along with fast contact tracing and isolation. But if your friend was not isolated in hospital I have no idea why she was there.😷
@whowasthatmaskedman Because of the high ozone levels and symptoms of asthma most likely. But the media here never mentioned it to warn people not to be outdoors. Instead all they focused on in the news was hospitalizations.
@cherokeepatti Sounds like a bunch of Public servie announcements might have helped. Its hayfever season here now and the news included items on taking your medication for hayfever and asthma to avoid confusion with Covid symptoms. But get tested anyway.😷
@whowasthatmaskedman yes but hay fever medication does nothing for the problems that high ozone causes, we had days of poor and fair rating for air quality due to ozone and not one peep from the media
@cherokeepatti Sounds like an EPA issue. If not the announcements, then the air quality itself. Here our lockdown has cut air and surface traffic to a trickle and the air is cleaner than usual.😷
