Trump and Covid

30,000 more people contract Covid 19 after attending Trump support rally’s. Are Republicans actually that dumb? Apparently they are.

These people will crucify china for failing to contain the virus, yet when asked to wear a mask and socially distance, they cry about their 'freedumbs'.

Sucks that covid just doesn't exclusively affect them tbh.

@deadgerbil People who give up freedom to "feel safe" get neither.

@deadgerbil so true. We got rid of Covid by practicing simple things like mask wearing and social distancing and contact tracing. So simple.
justanothername · 51-55, M
@MrBrownstone Actually we get to live Covid Free and visit bars and crowded sports events without catching Covid.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@justanothername So no need for vaccine
justanothername · 51-55, M
@PainfulTruth your mask stops Covid droplets. You can’t smell bacon when you have been killed by Covid.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@justanothername I already do that

@PainfulTruth
The virus is smaller than the bacon molecules
You know what isn't? Respiratory droplets that carry the virus.

Try understanding what's actually being discussed instead of saying misleading nonsense. I've had the pleasure of correcting you in the past when your partisan drivel corrupted your understanding of basic history. The only thing painful about you is how you revel in ignorance.

Congrats for being responsible.

Now imagine a world where supposedly smart people join the Freedom to Drive in the Dark Committee.

Better yet, let's start a movement that questions the legitimacy of seat belts. They literally constrict the freedumb out of me, and God forbid if some libtard cop tickets me for not wearing one 😹

@deadgerbil Headlights work that's why

@MrBrownstone masks are to protect others. If you dont care about your fellow Americans, by all means, go without.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@Carla Just like all the athletes

Masks too, it's just that you can't see viruses like you can see visible light. The fact you can't see something doesn't mean it doesn't exist. If you happen to be religious you should know that well.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@Elessar They don't
Elessar · 26-30, M
@MrBrownstone Prove it. How comes doctor wear them since forever? How comes doctor ever since FFP2/N95 shortages have been addressed no longer get sick as frequently?
PSuss1 · 51-55, M
@deadgerbil plus of course the purpose of wearing masks is to reduce the risk of transmission, rather than absolute prevention. As an asymptomatic carrier, wearing a mask will stop you spreading so many droplets, thus you will infect less people.

Of course it depends on one's moral compass whether you think that's a good thing 🤷‍♂️
Elessar · 26-30, M
@PSuss1 I don't think it was the right strategy to tell people it's for protecting others - egoism is prevalent in both America and Europe at the very least.
Carla · 61-69, F
@MrBrownstone well didn't trump tell you he brought back football?
Btw...those athletes are kept in a bubble.
College football, though...dumb kids do dumb things. I am of the opinion that college and high school sports should be postponed until a legitimate vaccine is available.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@Carla Glad you aren't in charge
PSuss1 · 51-55, M
@Elessar I live in hope that the majority of people are not so self-centred and still carry a shred of empathy for their fellow man...

...some of the commenters on this thread make me think that hope may, unfortunately, be misplaced 😪

@MrBrownstone yes, because the guy that is is doing such a great job.
