@deadgerbil plus of course the purpose of wearing masks is to reduce the risk of transmission, rather than absolute prevention. As an asymptomatic carrier, wearing a mask will stop you spreading so many droplets, thus you will infect less people.

Of course it depends on one's moral compass whether you think that's a good thing 🤷‍♂️

@PSuss1 I don't think it was the right strategy to tell people it's for protecting others - egoism is prevalent in both America and Europe at the very least.

Btw...those athletes are kept in a bubble.
College football, though...dumb kids do dumb things. I am of the opinion that college and high school sports should be postponed until a legitimate vaccine is available.
