@whowasthatmaskedman there doesn't have to be a war, the deal is to maintain a good relationship between the two countries, this will hopefully keep it peaceful.

@Johnblackthorn When it comes from someone who’s not particularly interested in peace, but in trying to make political hay on the backs of countries that aren’t at war, it’s questionable. Especially when said person has dismantled existing peace agreements with the same motives.

@whowasthatmaskedman @bijouxbroussard I get that you don't want trump to be seen as doing something positive and to be honest it will probably turn to shit because the Palestinians will inevitably have an opinion on it, but any agreement that enables two countries to conduct their business in the open is a good thing, no more covert deals and it's another Arab country that officially recognises Israel in it's own right, another good thing.

I get that you want Trump to be seen to be doing something good. You know where he could [b]start[/b] ? Right here at home, encouraging his supporters to take this pandemic more seriously and not dismissing it. He received “compassionate” use of trial Covid medicines, things that none of his supporters will have access to, if [b]they[/b] get sick. This is where he could actually be saving some U.S. lives—but he refuses to do it.

@SW-User except that America and Canada have been openly working together and there has for many years been mutual recognition, unlike between Sudan and Israel.
