3rd party candidates are a waste of votes. They can't win.

@SummerDream: No. It's not about sending a message. Not now. And most anyone with a few elections under their belt will tell you the same thing.
SummerDream · 31-35, F
yes but if hillsry looses cause she lacks like 5% they will try to get those votes in 4 years... same for the republicans.

Third party votes count because they at least keep the "other" parties legally viable, in case someone great runs someday. I'm lucky to be in Calif so I can vote Green Party, knowing Hillary will win the state anyway.
If I lived in North Carolina I might have to bite the bullet and vote for ...ugh..Hillary...

That how California helped George W Bush, by the people who voted for Ralph Nader.
Rachely3 · 31-35, F
You mean Florida, No Bush ever won California and I did vote for Nader. But that's why I'd be forced to vote Hillary if I lived in a "swing state" like FL or Michigan or such.

No. 1) I have no idea who any of them are and what they're all about. 2) I don't feel like wasting my vote.
SummerDream · 31-35, F
if you honestly believe either trump or hillary will br a great president you should vote fir them.
if you doubt both you are wasting your vote if you vote for either

Too late: I've already wasted my vote on a major party nominee.🤔😕

A waste?
Nah. Voting is never a waste.
Especially since a non-vote actually IS a vote. Sometimes we need to vote against things.
You're involved in the process whether you like it or not.

good point that even a non vote is a vote... and not the worst in this case

@SummerDream: Appreciate the response. Go vote, ok? It really is important.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
Third party candidates are actual crap. You think the other two are bad..try a guy who is like barney fife and a woman who believes wifi causes cancer and other such things.
Go ahead. It is your vote.

nope cause the 3rd or 4th Party wont win
SummerDream · 31-35, F
sometimes the best choice is to make no choice at all
Rachely3 · 31-35, F
Learn your history, ya'll! There was a time when both "Republicans" and "Democrats" WERE the "2nd" or "3rd" party! Things change when people decide to vote with courage and conviction instead of "settling."
JohnOinger · 41-45, M
its a waste of time that's how by doing that you would be letting Trump Win
MrSmooTh · 31-35, M
Don't do it.
bijouxbroussard · F
A wasted vote (imo) is for someone with no possibility of winning.
SummerDream · 31-35, F
its not about winning but about sending a message.
bijouxbroussard · F
That's where you and I differ. It's about winning.
