An example of extreme corruption by perceived power, one who may have started on the journey with an intention to change things in the world, but who is so consumed with "self" that one forgets that they serve the "people." As speaker, that's not just her home district, but every American, and referring to those with whom she does not agree, both in and out of her political view, in a derogatory and dismissive manner reflects poorly on her and the office she has attained. She does not have to be "nice," and in many ways Speaker is not well suited to someone who has to be "nice," but one can be respectful and discharge duties without abusing the position for political gain and headlines.
