@revenant the reaction of a government realizing what a screw-up the 'return to work' instruction was.

@revenant Maybe their thinking is if they can kill off the right number of 'baby-boomers' that in itself, economically will fill a pensions hole.
And if enough 'Generation x-ers' get it that would lighten the 'burden on employers' to up wages and pension provision and so lessen unemployment numbers.....

I know i'm a cynic at the best of times, but these morons just keep giving you reason to mistrust them.

@Picklebobble2 I wonder what the long term thinking is about. If a year ago even people could have predicted what was there to come, they would have been looked at like lunatics

@revenant I heard something disturbing from Boris Johnson a few weeks ago when he publicly stated that 'Living with the Coronavirus is something we're going to have to get used to'.
Which made me think they're thinking this is more of a statistics game than a major health problem !

@Picklebobble2 Every major health problem is also a statistics game.

@QuixoticSoul Means nothing to folk trying to ensure their kids and their parents are safe while trying to cling on to their job.

@Picklebobble2 Avoiding social situations is how you do that.
