COVID is a scam

https://youtu.be/IQxh6nleFVY

I have defied the mask mandate since this whole thing started and I will continue to defy it. I'm not giving up my freedom for false safety. Don't like it? I don't care. I really truly do not care. It's also nice to know that my view of the left being authoritarian, traitorous scumbags is not entirely unfounded.

I will be wearing a mask in public places, I am not sure how being considerate to others for the common good is being mocked

I'm educated enough to know that I could be asymptomatic and still give you the virus.

No, I don't "live in fear" of the virus; I just want to be part of the solution, not the problem.

I don't feel like the "government controls me". I feel like I'm an adult contributing to the security in our society.

If we could all live with the consideration of others in mind, the whole world would be a much better place (not just about masks)

Wearing a mask doesn't make me weak, scared, stupid or even "controlled". It makes me caring and responsible.

@BabyLonia Exactly. You hit the nail on the head.

@BabyLonia 👆 This. Best answer.
@BabyLonia once Trump's vaccine is out long enough to be seen as safe, I will take it and then no more mask for me at all.

@SpiritualMan Ah, the Good American, waiting to a pill or magic cure to solve problems.

"Trump's vaccine" is a myth. It takes years to perfect and test vaccines, and they're not always found. Already some international "approved" vaccines are causing serious damage. Not to mention that a vaccine only needs to be 50% effective. If only half the people use it, you're still looking at the vast majority - 75% - walking around with no protection.

It's a piece of fabric
. Right now, Asian and other countries are laughing uproariously at Americans.

@SpiritualMan it may not happen, there is still no cure for aids, people still "mask up" to protect themselves from getting infected.
@BabyLonia we are coming to an end point where we need masks, just a question of when
BabyLonia · F
@SpiritualMan it is no hardship to wear one
@BabyLonia I personally have trouble breathing in one when it is hot and humid, and even indoors for an extended period of time. I wear one in stores but loosen it on purpose so I can breathe. When we no longer need then we should rejoice.

@SpiritualMan people with breathing difficulties/restricted lung capacity are more likely to be adversely affected if they catch covid 19, they are the ones that need the mask the most.

When we feel safe enough to remove masks then there will be relief, i cannot possibly rejoice when so many have died.
