COVID is a scam

A "scam". A "hoax".

Errr.

Really?

One agreed and perpetrated by virtually all governments of the world acting in a rare burst of co-operation and planning far beyond anything they can muster for anything constructive? Not just a few governments normally in cahoots anyway; but governments Left, Right and centrist-coalition, secular and theocratic, democratic and totalitarian, large and small, rich and poor, independent or in a political bloc, friends and enemies?

The "scam / hoax" of millions of sufferers and a huge death-toll world-wide from a disease new to humans and proving much more complex and difficult to manage than some form of influenza?

A "scam / hoax" causing vast damage to practically all nations' economies and public services?

A "scam / hoax" causing considerable disruption worldwide to everyone's work, private, social, religious, cultural lives?


So, do please explain objectively, without recourse to party-politics, the results of your research - What is the purpose of this scam or hoax? Who initiated it and succeeded in making so many oft-fractious governments agree to it? For whose benefit?

Oh, and by the way... face-coverings are not primarily to protect the wearer, but others from the wearer; though I grant you apparently think others do not matter.
