I have defied the mask mandate since this whole thing started and I will continue to defy it. I'm not giving up my freedom for false safety. Don't like it? I don't care. I really truly do not care. It's also nice to know that my view of the left being authoritarian, traitorous scumbags is not entirely unfounded.

That's cool. You be you, and I'll be me. I'll continue to wear a mask to protect you from exposure in the event that I'm sick. That's me giving up my freedom to protect you, as a service to you. Thanks would be nice, but I really expect nothing but insults from anyone anymore.

@CopperCicada You shouldn't give up your freedom for someone else, especially over a nothing burger virus that the government is using as a power grab. I won't insult you for wearing a mask, that's your choice just as its my choice to not bend the knee to this whole thing.

@SW-User We give up our freedom for others all the time. I drive on the right side of the road, throw my garbage in the bin, stand in line and wait my turn. When it comes to public health I cover myself when I cough or sneeze, I wash my hands when use the restroom, not give my lover a disease. Wearing a mask during a pandemic is about as unremarkable as it gets.
