I have defied the mask mandate since this whole thing started and I will continue to defy it. I'm not giving up my freedom for false safety. Don't like it? I don't care. I really truly do not care. It's also nice to know that my view of the left being authoritarian, traitorous scumbags is not entirely unfounded.

Wearing a fabric mask isn't safe for everyone. I know of people that have gotten a bacterial infection from wearing fabric masks even if they washed them after every use they still got a bacterial infection. I have seen several people that have passed out from wearing fabric masks. I don't wear fabric masks anymore because my oxygen level drops to very low, so when needed I wear surgical masks only but I don't wear them while driving or walking around outside only in most public buildings.

@Elessar All the videos are with doctors and nurses sitting down not walking around. Sitting down wearing a fabric mask won't do anything but walking around etc. Will.

@Smart23 Fabric ones filter less (aka, allow more air and particles go through them) than any of the above. Reason why they're usually not even certified.

Doctors and nurses job involves a lot of movement, and especially these days, wearing masks/respirators for much longer than the average Joe would.

No doctor or nurse has ever dropped dead from using a mask, after decades since their introduction.

@Smart23 They wear far more filtering ones (FFP3/KN99), which makes breathing even harder than with fabric ones.

Anyway get disposable surgical ones if you can. A package of like 50 of them on Amazon is for like 25€ here. They're not only lighter to wear, but also certified (so potentially more protective) and disposable (no risk of contamination by reuse).

I myself am not a fan of fabric ones, because they make me sweat.
