What has living in your echo chamber showed you about the people in it?

I block a lot, which has made something of an echo chamber for me, albeit, with thin walls. Now the problem with echo chambers is obvious, but since I have no contact with the worst of SWeeps in opposing camps, they no longer desensitize me to the worst SWeeps in my camp. So I'm more acutely aware that there are some real jerks in my camp.

There aren’t as many trolls here. They don’t start out calling names. If anything, they tend to take the high road, which can be a little annoying.
@bijouxbroussard you'd prefer douchebags name calling?
@Callmewhatyouwill No, I respect that about my side. But because of that I feel compelled to hold my tongue when I’m furious. The other side rarely does.
@bijouxbroussard I feel a time and a place. Generally of actually trying to share a difference of opinion it's best to take the high ground.

Sometimes people are just out for a reaction or too far to either side to be reasonable
