Do you think anyone feels sorry for Steve Bannon except Trump and if convicted is sure of a pardon?

He was described as being "excited" as he left court, and he did look it, after being bailed for $5Million. Strange reaction to an indictment I thought.

He probably is counting on a pardon from Trump.
@bijouxbroussard And why wouldn't Trump give him a pardon? That will really piss the left off.

@bijouxbroussard Probably but Trump is now trying to distance himself from it saying he never approved of it and that they were "showboating".
Silly move on Trump's part I think (as per usual) but then Trump has only ever cared about how anything affects him.
Bannon, of all people, knows more about the dirty deeds than just about anyone else after all he concocted a lot of them.
Is he so loyal that if he thinks Trump will cut him loose he won't tell all he knows? He knows where all the bodies are buried ... figurately speaking.
@Pitchblue Because they claim to be the party of “law and order” ? But Trump‘s a hypocrite who has no scruples, so of course that hasn’t been a consideration before.
@Zoranna Exactly why he can pull this kind of Con and not worry about it.
@bijouxbroussard If he gets tied to Bannon on this Trump will just fabricate a fraud case about Biden. The "Everyone does it" defence. Remember it was the Clinton Foundation committing fraud NOT the Trump foundation.

@Pitchblue It's despicable though, in my opinion. What about all those people who donated the money in good faith or can they just write it off on their taxes? American politics ... what a mess.
@Zoranna Yes, but for some reason the Republican donors can just overlook it. The GOP will come out with some alternate shit that will satisfy them.
Zoranna · F
@Pitchblue I'm sure they will. Don't get me wrong I don't feel sorry for them, it's their own fault if they fell for it and were duped.
As far as you saying the Trump Foundation had not been committing fraud what about their charity? They (the Trumps) are banned from running another charity for something like 10 years if my memory serves me well.

@bijouxbroussard The GOP has proven over and over again to be the party of grift, injustice, and sleaze.
@Zoranna That was my point Trump says the Clinton's are committing fraud while he and his family commit fraud. He constantly accuses someone else of the crimes he is committing. The Dems want to rig the election, while he destroys the Post Office to suppress votes.

@Pitchblue Agreed, he's an expert at "deflecting and projecting" along with deliberating causing chaos and upheaval but not much else, in fact nothing else except looking after his own personal interests.
For all his bluster and bravado I personally think he's feeling very insecure right now but has always maintained he enjoys a fight. Well he's got one now and I sincerely hope he loses "bigly".
@Zoranna He does say that, doesn’t he ? But clearly not a fair fight.
Zoranna · F
@bijouxbroussard Clearly; he doesn't know nor have any inclination to do that. To him "The end justifies the means" by ANY means.
