Even before Floyd opened the door, the officer had his gun out. Even then refusing to get out of his car for questioning is not threatening and does not give the officer the right to pull out his firearm.

@SW-User When a cop tells you to put your hands up, they do so because you could reach for a gun.

@SatanBurger In the video Floyd had his hands on the car wheel while the officer had his gun out. So no threat there. Nothing justifies what the officer did. And really pulling his gun out over a damn counterfeit bill? That officer deserves to be in jail for that.

Cop taps on the glass, "let me see your hands" Floyd had one hand on the steering wheel before he knew a cop was there naturally. I'm assuming ready to drive off.

His other hand was on the other side, not up

The cop says again "both hands, let me see your hands."

The guy says "I'm not I'm not I'm not doing anything" and starts mumbling. He starts to double over while saying he didn't do anything.

Cop says "Jesus Christ, just let me see your hands, both of them" then gets out the gun.

@SW-User I'm arguing with you about the gun and saying you are in the wrong doesn't mean I wanted Floyd dead because Floyd wasn't shot with the gun, so to relate that and say you know my views is partisan cult mentality and an emotionally charged illogical statement.

I watched the video, from the moment the cop knocked on the glass, Floyd only had one hand on that steering wheel.

@SatanBurger If a cop has to pull out a gun on someone because he/she gave a cashier counterfit money that they might/might not have been aware of, (something that happens a lot more than not) that cop should not be a cop in the first place.

Furthermore, I saw the same video you did and a person who refuses to be questioned is not a threat, a person with both hands on the wheel is not seen as a threat either. In the end this video doesn’t help these officers.

@SW-User I'll agree with you that the police shouldn't have put pressure on his neck. They should have stood him upright while waiting for an ambulance.

But the cop pulled the gun out because he refused to put two hands on the steering wheel and Floyd easily could have been digging for a weapon.

But hey you're right, it was moronic to do that, he should have just politely stood there so he could possibly get shot in the head just to please the masses.

Watched the video just to see whose right here. He only had one hand visible and his other had to his right side out of view.

I don't see why anyone would lie about that, it's only a minute in and very clear.

@TeirdalinFirefall at 1:27 the officer tells Floyd to put his hands on the wheel and at 1:35 Floyd complies and puts both of his hands on the wheel.
