I look at very little as democrat or republican, they are just labels. I try to look at liberal issues and conservative issues. I am conservative, I have to balance my checkbook, the government should have to balance theirs. I pay my own bills and support my own habits, the government should as well. Everything the government does it screws up, waste and fraud, corruption are part of the daily grind. Until we start holding politicians accountable for their actions, the BS will continue.
