The men that we fought daily from my personal experience are nothing close to holy or gentle but you're a close minded person one that legitimately thinks they know more than those that have experienced it first hand. The only way a country can even wage war is through money. War is profitable so therefore the uber rich can and do profit. There's no way you can tell me there's no one to pull the strings to light the fuse at least 50% of the time even if it's not all the time. Corporations in Africa for instance, pitted two warring tribes against one another by telling one that it was superior to that of another. This purposely creates division but better yet, it gets a majority when they work in crappy conditions to be passive with their slave labor for 4 dollars an hour. If a minority rises up, it's a great way to create a loyal base. War is a lot of things... self defense, propaganda, money and political interests put together. It's a lot more complicated than "peasants want to willfully wipe each other out."

You seem to be making this personal, if you've been in war, understand I'm not talking about every soldier but you bring up Reagan specifically so I'll specifically stay on point.

Being upset at far right wing death squads who only managed to kill small town peasants, nuns and priests doesn't make me close minded. I'm actually the opposite of Christian, so if I was closed minded, I would support the Contras to thank them for wiping out people who are historically anti-gay and bigoted and I would stereotype those nuns and priests to justify their murders.

If I was closed minded, I would have labeled them communists without any evidence what so ever to dismiss the murder and rape of the nuns, kind of like Reagan did.

Not to mention a CIA statement stated the country the Contras were from actually wanted the Contras to kill people working with the poor "just in case" they were subversive.

The real truth is muslim men in 3of world countries are raised that all whites are enemies of their way of life and regular practice, which I witnessed on a regular basis was the rape of adolescent boys. I've never met an Muslim that hated white people but in war territories where the Islamic state is controlling them and they don't graduate from school, I'm sure it does and so I don't doubt you in the least. In Africa, they kill children suspected of being witches still, again in territories where they don't graduate from school and are in higher poverty, I'd expect that.
