I don't really have a favorite from that group. George H W Bush was the best prepared person we've elected to the presidency since WWII. His reneging on his promise not to raise taxes was a gutsy decision that helped pave the way for an economic boom under Clinton. However, he gave away all the kudos in my book by taking us into war. It took three or four different reasons before he found one that his supporters liked (Saddam Hussein is a madman).
Clinton did the best job of any of the group as president, but the Monica Lewinsky incident took away any moral argument for supporting him.
Obama did a good job with a steady hand, taking us from the brink of another Great Depression to a recovery, and all with the Republican Party and its racist elements trying to stonewall all the way. He will look better with the hindsight of history and the national tragedy that took over the White House after him.
