So the Supreme court set to rule on whether Trumps Tax returns and other financials can be supoenaed

I wonder what unfairnesses and injustices will be tweeted about if this goes down? Or will we have to wait until he is kicked out of office before We have it confirmed that he isnt a billionare, and is guilty of tax evasion and money laundering through Deutsche bank. Either way his supporters are going to be so sad.

Unfortunately it's not in the Constitution nor are there any federal precedencies. With that lack there's only one way they will vote because they are constitutional judges not law Judges per say. Only when laws are effected by the Constitution will they vote for or against.

Same thing happened with women's contraception last week. Not in the Constitution. They didn't even bother with precedencies. 🤷‍♂️

@Spoiledbrat not certain to what you are referring. They all are constitutional judges so there is neither a he or she nor a democrat or conservative.

Think of it like a computer making laws. That's how they treat the Constitution. "Supposedly" unemotional.

I don't agree with the whole process and believe a constitutional convention should be held.

Yet that holds other problems. 😒

@Spoiledbrat it's all how it's setup. The supreme Court isn't supposed to rule on laws that do not effect the Constitution.

States are supposedly free to make their own laws as long as it doesn't effect or doesn't overrule the Constitution. Since this does effect elections and taxes are not covered by the Constitution they will more than likely say they can't have that as a law. How Presidential elections are conducted is covered. And taxes simply are not in it.

This sorely needs to be changed by a constitutional amendment. Or just scrap the whole constitution and make another, which is called a constitutional convention. 🤷‍♂️

I prefer the latter because hundreds of issues need to be addressed. Not just taxes, not just contraception, not just how the president can be removed from office.

There's all kinds of issues that are badly in need of being addressed!

No president has ever been removed from office in over 244 years! That needs to be addressed! Something absolutely evil to me! They can do whatever they want with no real consequences.

Look at Nixon. He is venerated dispite of resignation under the threat of being impeached.

I’m not for scrapping the constitution at all, ever. I’m not sure what contraception has to do with whether the president gets re-elected.

I’m going to be honest, I think there’s a limit to removing a president from office because a person has to work for a living so as long as they are doing their job I think it almost doesn’t matter. Tax evasion does not affect the people. I think some things are kept separate from work.

I don’t know what will happen if he’s guilt of tax fraud. Thsts new to me I’m predicting how the people will vote if he’s not fired lol. . @DeWayfarer

@Spoiledbrat everything I have mentioned so far plus other things. You believe BLM will change things? It won't until a constitutional convention has occurred really. Oh sure some minor state laws were effected yet nothing Federally.

And it will remain that way until the Constitution is amended. Our current president has said fines will be instituted for any statues damaged on federal land and WILL be replaced.
