"Endanger children and teachers or else!"

President Donald Trump put the nation's schools on notice Wednesday that he may cut off their funding if they don't reopen their classrooms this fall.

One day after he promised to put "a lot of pressure" on schools to reopen, Trump served up a new threat on Twitter.
"In Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and many other countries, SCHOOLS ARE OPEN WITH NO PROBLEMS," he wrote. "The Dems think it would be bad for them politically if U.S. schools open before the November Election, but is important for the children & families. May cut off funding if not open!"
The schools and the parents need to all get together and defy Trump, and his lapdog Betsy Devoid.

Don’t blindly and automatically do what they say. Insist on opening schools in a way that maintains health and safety for everybody.

If they just pretend COVID is over, and try to do everything as if it were 2019 - nobody will be safe.

Some kids are too young to realistically be expected to wear the mask and socially distance. Try it with a two-year-old....

Anti-maskers will send their kids to school - after they’ve done all the up-close-and-personal things that parents do with children. And if they’re anti-maskers, they and their kids are probably walking Petri dishes anyway,

Those kids will infect other kids. Who will infect their own parents and siblings.

They will also infect teachers. Who will infect their families.

Since this is a country where MONEY is more important than anything.....a lot of those infected adults will be forced to come to work sick. And infect more people.

@SmartKat @Graylight Thx for Best Comment. Is that a thing now? I don’t think I’ve seen it before.

@SmartKat It's always been there, but I rarely see it, either.
