I'd actually like to hear some more debate over this beyond the obvious fact that it would end up being a blue state.
The rubric about needing a capitol not subject to state influence seems rather archaic to me, and thats all I've heard so far.
I'm pretty sure that Republicans won't give in on the issue and that it's precisely why Democrats support it, but what other pluses and minuses are there?

Unconstitutional for starters. @MistyCee
@jackjjackson How is it unconstitutional? I'd assumed the plan was to do it Constitutionally?

A house bill isn’t the constitutionally required me those. The house bill is another dem waster of taxpayers time and money. A cheap publicity stunt. You know that. . @MistyCee

@jackjjackson exactly . Funny how the libs want to side step the rules of the constitution but then hide behind them as well .

It’s a cheap publicity stunt wasting taxpayers time and money. The house should be addressing CV, thr economy and racial equity. @TexChik

@jackjjackson exactly , but all they do is try to undermine trump rather than pass good Legislation to prevent Trump from getting “ a win”

They let the crime bill slip through. They would have looked like dunces even more had they blocked it. @TexChik
