Is there a list of black people, that benefited from BLM, except of course, the founders and families of BLM, I hear they purchased a few mansions and one of the family members became a millionaire, providing security for BLM
I hope that one day we live in a world where this is assumed, and treated by everyone as 100% true. Black lives indeed matter and it's time society starts acting like they do.
@JAYS21 Lol. Brush up on history and drop the term Democrat or Republican. The conservative party has always held black people down. The parties switched platforms. Just look at when the south went from always voting Democrat to always voting Republican. It just shows how corrupt the government is. I do laugh when Republicans try to use Lincoln as an example when he was liberal lol.
@JAYS21 Far from it. I know my history and know that both parties have systemically held down minorites, poor, and both to some degree are killing the middle class. Your super divisiveness is exactly what they want. You're too busy arguing asinine points rather than holding your politicians accountable to actually make life better for Americans. Congrats you're a mindless sheep and no better than the other side. Both sides suck and don't care about the common person.
@BigBrotherFan I'm not trying to argue believe me...but who exactly is in danger?....I'm leaving this convo because you can just call me a racist and walk away but if your saying the whole race is in danger, I would say there are more woman killed by abusive spouses every day, more babies are shaken to death every day, more people are shot every day via gang crime...than are shot by police. And please - last weekend, 106 people in Chicago were shot - including a 3 year old, and not by police. So call me a racist or whatever but the phrase is flawed, the argument is flawed...I would urge you to do something about it....get involved...but these trite buzzwords change nothing. Be well friends.
@luctoretemergo It's also not just about being killed. It's about a system that doesn't treat them fairly under their written law. Additionally, crimes are constructed to keep minorites and the poor down. For instance, criminalizing drug use? It's arbitrary and was created to target people.
Simply put they're hurting and trying to say "hey we matter too you know." Because to them it sure as heck feels like they don't. It's not about all lives, it's about them and that's ok. It's not meant to comment on all lives and that's not the purpose. That's what asking for help/empathy is.
