I didn't say we should be dependent on foreign products. Neither he said we should throw away products because they're Chinese or we should hate them. He is pressing on being self sufficient so that it could strengthen our economy and also in this situation weaken the opposing power's economy. But that's a challenge which can take time. Read the article again.

Other countries like USA, could easily achieve because they have every resource they need. The economy is stable enough to support that. Only manufacturing sectors need to be shifted from China to another country. For India, it's not that easy. Most of their products are dependent on China. Being independent takes time.

A lot of Indians think that they should immediately eliminate every Chinese they could get hands on which is, I think, a foolish attempt.

@ABCDEF7 we should be boycotting Chinese products and work forward to be self sufficient. But now is not the right time, especially with coronavirus epidemic going on in the country and current economic situation. That's all I am saying
