Defund the Left!

The cry from the left now is to invite further chaos and anarchy to defund the police. It does two things - appeases the anarchists and short sighted left. And 2nd - sets up a framework to federalize the police to ensure complete control.

So, if we want to defund stuff that doesn't work and is harmful to the country,
how about we defund the left?

And, just like the left doesn't feel a need to articulate what they meant, I'll leave it to your imagination what defunding the left would look like.

Defunding is more about diverting resources.
Imagine if the Americans spent some of the money used for the military, the police, and their prison systems, and spent it on education, social programs, and health care for all?

@chrisCA I just want higher accountability. That might actually require more resources (at least at first) but it’s too important not to. I’m not sure diverting resources from police fix police brutality.

@DarkHeaven Canada is not perfect, but we don't have as much of this kind of thing, but much can be improved in how our police interact with our First Nations.

@Budwick Valid question. Body cams mandatory, diversity training, and make it easier to prosecute bad actors. It’s often way hard to prosecute police even when they kill.
