Do right-wing people take for granted things fought for by the left?

I didn't write this story but I wish I had: 😂

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF NOB, RIGHTWING BREXIT BRIT.

Nob gets up at 6am, and fills his kettle with water to prepare his morning coffee. The water is clean and reasonably drinkable because some tree-hugging leftie fought for minimum water-quality standards. With his first swallow of coffee, he takes his daily pills. His medications are safe to take because some stupid commie leftie fought to ensure their safety and that they work as prescribed.

All of his healthcare is free because some Labour leftie created a thing called the NHS - now Nob can use it as and when needed.

Nob prepares his morning breakfast; bacon and eggs. Nob's bacon is safe to eat because some girly-man leftie fought for laws to regulate the meat industry.

During his morning shower, Nob reaches for his shampoo. His bottle is properly labelled with each ingredient and its amount in the total contents because some crybaby foreigner-loving leftie fought for his right to know what he was putting on his body and how much it contained. Nob can read the container because some mardy leftie thought it would be a good idea to send Nob to school at the age of 5 instead of work.

Nob dresses, walks outside and takes a deep breath. The air he breathes is clean because some environmentalist lefties fought for laws to stop industries from polluting our air.

Nob begins his work day. He has a good job with excellent pay, sick pay, pension and paid holidays because some lazy leftie union members fought and died for these working standards. Nob's employer pays these standards because Nob's employer doesn't want his employees to call the union.

If Nob is hurt on the job or becomes unemployed, he'll get compensation and unemployment benefits because some stupid lazy leftie didn't think he should lose his home because of his temporary misfortune.

Nob is home from work. He plans to visit his father this evening at his old home. He gets in his car for the drive. His car is among the safest in the world because some job-hating leftie fought for car safety standards. He arrives at his boyhood home.

Nob is happy to see his father, who is now retired. His father lives on benefits and a union pension because some champagne-drinking, cheese-eating leftie made sure he could take care of himself so Nob wouldn't have to.

Nob gets back in his car for the journey home, and turns on a BBC talk show. The radio host keeps saying that Lefties like Keir Starmer are bad and the Conservatives are good. He doesn't mention that the beloved Tories have fought against every protection and benefit Nob enjoys throughout his day. Nob agrees: "We don't need those big-government, Euro-loving lefties ruining our lives! After all, I'm a self-made man who believes everyone should take care of themselves, just like I have."

@Burnley123 I wish you were right! I’ve never heard a radio or TV host on the BBC behave like the one in this story, and to be fair, it would be contrary to the BBC’s charter to do so.
